Selecting High School Instructional Materials

In 2003-04, a set of textbooks was identified for each core course in high school mathematics (Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II) and science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth and Space Science, Environmental Science). Fourteen committees engaged over 70 district teachers, curriculum leaders, and external content experts in the process of selecting these instructional materials.
